Annie Chang
A former Pageant Beauty Queen, Annie Chang was a former Miss Chinatown San Francisco 2004 and Miss Asian San Francisco 2003. Her passion of learning the various beautiful cultures around the world prompted her to start the 2013 Miss Asian Las Vegas Pageant. Since then, the pageant has become the Miss Asian North America Pageant and is now a Non Profit Scholarship Pageant. Annie attended University of Maryland and San Francisco State University receiving Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications and Broadcasting. Annie currently lives in Las Vegas with her husband and three children. She is also the founder of Summerlin Family Wealth, a Registered Investment Advisory firm providing wealth management consulting and portfolio management for high net worth clients.


Shelby Kanani

Contestant Choreographer and Coach

A Las Vegas native, Shelby Kanani Johnson is a pageant sister of numerous local and national organizations. Her most recent reigns include Miss Japan Las Vegas 2015 and Miss Nevada United States 2017, from which she went on to place third in the Miss United States pageant. An ardent advocate for STE(A)M – supporting women in tech and student success through art integrated learning – and also the Asian community, Shelby has participated in scores of local Las Vegas charity events to help many organizations raise funds and awareness. She has gained the support of numerous influential mentors and supporters to aid her in continuing these endeavors. Shelby is currently an analyst with Intrigma, Inc., an innovator in the field of physician and clinician scheduling.


Elisa Chan

Elisa Chan is currently a mortgage specialist at Bank Of America in Las Vegas. NMLS ID: 1466926. Graduated from UNLV, she was one of the first contestants in the Inaugural Miss Asian Las Vegas pageant in 2013 and won the title of Miss Asian Las Vegas 1st Princess, Miss Chinese Las Vegas, and Miss Community Service. She then went on to compete in the Miss Nevada USA pageant in 2014 and won Miss Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, and Best in Evening Gown.

Elisa speaks both Mandarin and Cantonese and enjoys spending time helping the community and being at home with her family



John Cotter

John has been with Mikimoto America for over 17 years. He brings the experience of working with the Miss Universe Organization, as well as with the Tournament Of Roses Rose Queen and Court for over a decade. Raised in New Jersey, John is currently based in Beverly Hills, California and is a multi-unit Jersey Mike’s franchisee.

Maggie Hsu
Maggie runs Business Development and Partnerships for AirSwap. AirSwap is a decentralized, peer-to-peer trading platform for cryptoassets. Maggie was previously Chief of Staff for Tony Hsieh of, a leading online retailer operating under Holacracy, a self-managed organizational structure. Prior to that, Maggie was Director of Strategy at Hilton Worldwide and a consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York. She holds undergraduate and MBA degrees from Harvard University.


Joe Muscaglione
Joe is the founder & owner of With over 3 decades of being in the food and beverage industry, Mr. Muscaglione has worked throughout the years as a food and beverage consultant for many of the Las Vegas Hotels & Casinos. Joe also enjoys dabbling into martial arts and was once a rock guitarist. In addition, Joe speaks 5 languages!


Garin Wong
Originally from San Francisco, Garin Wong currently resides in New York City. By day, he is a Foodservice Consultant/Designer. By night (and on the weekends), he does production of live shows and is working on a Youtube Channel. Working in production for nearly 30 years, creating a show is more fun than work. It’s like a yearly reunion with friends to put together something special. Along the way, we get to meet new people and guide the next generation of leaders, movers, and shakers – hopefully, they won’t forget us “little” people!

Esmeralda Gould
Esmeralda Padilla-Gould came from the prominent showbiz Padilla clan in the Philippines, because of her family’s prominent star status, she found herself entertaining the Las Vegas crowd through her passion in singing.

Esmeralda has always wanted to bring pride and prestige to her Padilla clan, and winning the title of Mrs. Asian Las Vegas 2014-2015 made that dream a reality. She wants to set an example to a younger generation, as well as mothers like herself, to get involved and reach for their own dreams no matter how exotic their goals may appear at the time. Esmeralda is passionate about being involved in yes her community and
helping others enhance their own lives.

Esmeralda Padilla-Gould is the current Club President 2016-2018 of the Las Vegas Spring Valley Lions Club.
